I took my cat there for a teeth cleaning. All was good through checkin, front desk people were also great. I signed a piece of paper consenting to sedation for the teeth cleaning and I dropped her off. I got a call at 2pm saying that she’s coming out of the sedation and they pulled 7 teeth. 7 TEETH?! I could not believe they did not call me to let me know before hand, I’m not saying it would have changed my decision, but I think informing the owner is CRUCIAL especially when she just came in for a cleaning. When I picked her up already upset I looked at her face and her face and chin were covered in blood, her eyes crusted shut and pee all over her. It’s hard enough to leave your beloved pet with someone, and to get them back looking like they’ve been hit by a car is especially hard and frustrating. I’m not saying she needs to come out looking like she’s been to the groomer, but to see her like that is heart breaking! They also did not give her any antibiotics and said “if her face swells up come back and get some” which seems crazy to me to let her get infected, and then do something about it. Overall I was really disappointed with how the whole situation went.

I would give zero stars if I could. I called this facility on April 14, 2026, at 9pm after our cat Frank had randomly lost all function in his back legs, was yowling nonstop, and trying to get away from us. I spoke with Dr. Root over the phone about what was going on and was told he had what is called saddle thrombus and that we should give him half of an 81mg pill of Asprin. That was it. He didn't want me to bring him in so he could give him pain medication or start blood thinners. My husband and I had to listen to him yowling and struggling to breath because this unprofessional man couldn't do his job and treat an animal that was in agony. When I called back in the morning and requested to have him humanely euthanized, they wanted us to either drop him off whenever and they could handle it or if we wanted to be in the room to come in at 4pm. So not only did he fail to treat my animal that was in pain but also wanted to prolong his suffering. I ended up calling another facility in Casper and had to have an emergency euthanasia set up first thing. My family has always used this facility for our animals, but I refuse to do so anymore. I will also be filing a formal complaint with the Wyoming State Board of Veterinary Medicine.

These guys are amazing. So compassionate towards animals and so kind to us in our stressful times. They've helped both of our cats with emergency visits and saved both of their lives on separate occasions. They always get us in quickly, answer all of our questions patiently, and consistently show that they truly care for my pet. I drive from Casper to go to this vet because they're the best one I've ever been to. Very affordable, they didn't even charge us for some of the stuff they did. Ashley especially was a huge help during this last emergency visit. Thank you Ashley! You were a huge comfort when we thought we were going to lose our boy.
